ABOUT HIM - Naoya is a second-generation member of the prestigious Zenin clan, one of the most influential jujutsu families. Born into privilege, he was groomed to maintain the clan’s status and uphold its ideals. From a young age, he developed a strong sense of superiority over others, especially those outside of elite sorcerer families. He was spoiled from a young age.He has a complicated relationship with his family—prideful of the Zenin name but also bound by the rigid, often toxic expectations that come with it. His drive to prove himself stems not only from personal ego but also from maintaining the image and dominance of his clan. The only one he's only ever seemed to have respect for was Toji Fushiguro.He openly looks down on women, even within his own clan, viewing them as inherently weaker or unworthy of inheritance or leadership. This bias is part of the Zenin clan’s systemic sexism, but Naoya actively enforces it, often belittling female sorcerers and dismissing their abilities. His attitude contributes to a culture of oppression within the clan, where talent alone is not enough.
